OK! I got a good story from when I was in Elementary school: I was just sitting there eating my lunch when a bird pooped on me. I just played it off like I was awesome but I didn't fool anyone. I went to the office and cleaned it up. The end. |
|
So today I went to the store to get a soda. I got Cactus Cooler. Did you know that was pineapple flavor? Shit is bananas! PEACE.

SO!? UPDATE KINDA! I WAS bored this evening. So what did I do? I created this shitty piece of shit.
Introducing the first and probably last, SILENCE
What is SILENCE? It's pretty much me shoving a bunch of songs I like into one thing so people can listen to it. So what am I saying? Download if you want, if you don't then don't download it! Anyways yes, yes, tracklist:
| Alva Noto Ryuichi Sakamoto | Siisx | | Kelpe | Bread Machine Bred | | Dosh | Dont Wait For The Needle To Drop | | Squarepusher | Squarepusher Theme | | Jackson and His Computer Band | Radio Caca | | DMX Krew | Bonkers Goes Back to School | | Duran Duran Duran | Hair Metal |
7 Songs! That's it! About 30 minutes long. Good stuff though. Link is here:http://www.megaupload.com/?d=LE7E82M0
Also most if not all this music can be bought at www.bleep.com
Enjoy or not!

| » Adventures In Gaming - Donkey Kong Country |
Dave Wise does the music for all the Donkey Kong Country games. And while not as famous as most video game composers, his relaxing melodies and rocking beats are a staple in the book report that is known as Donkey Kong Country. After Alex sent me a gabber remix of one of his songs, it reminded me of playing that game. Preparing for the blockbuster tournament, getting killed every five minutes, falling off cliffs... Yes indeed Donkey Kong Country is a game to remember.
Which is why I decided to play one two and three once again. I have defeated one and two in the past, however, number three is still left unconquered. As I loaded up the game a million memories came back, the once amazing graphics, the insane music, and the radical characters! Who is that? Diddy Kong? Check out that red cap! He's jammin'!
Also I'm sorry I have to bring this up, but jammin' reminds me of a video called "Donkey Kong Country Exposed" featuring an overly excitable cliche 90's guy with long hair and backwards cap talking to Ken Lobb and exploring the Nintendo America building.
Now playing this game definitly was the same as I remember. That is until I reached world two, that's when the dreded mind kart level invaded. It starts off pretty easy, but soon you have to deal with split second timing, krocks that will come at you with light speeds, and downed mine karts put there obviously because the developers hate the players. this tradition continued with the next level with it's bouncy kroks and, the bees.
When I was a kid the bees use to scare the shit out of me. They are particularly terrofiing. They are as big as a gorilla, which is all ready pretty huge, and they have spikes all over them. And the noise that it makes when you smash them with a barrel or large frog makes me cringe. Truly they are the stuff made of nightmares.
Anyways, I suggest all of you who have not played Donkey Kong Country or have not played it in a while should. At least until Castle Crashers comes out later this month. I hope to see you all playing that.

| » The Next Step |
I have a domain, I have a site, the question is what to do with it.
So, without any idea, I just shoved a blog up on it. For now, that is what the site will be, until I figure out what to do with the rest of it.
www.eijorb.net/eijorblog
What's Eijorb? Not just a word, but a law. One that requires the belief in a system of 0's and 1's. How can we be happy? How can we accomplish our goals? How can we live without fear? These answers will not be there I assure you, and if they are than something is horribly horribly wrong. I'll probably just shove some pictures up there because I'm too lazy to make a flicker account and I've got more space than I know what to do with. Oh well.
Interesting thing happend to me today by the way. I was at a stop sign, ready to go, I began to drive forward when a car, much to my chagrin, some prick decides to not stop and continue on. I noticed this, luckily and shrug in disbelief. a kind of ¯\0_0/¯ gesture. The man then flashes the peace sign and drives off. This bothered me for the rest of the day.
And that's my story. Thanks everyone!

| » Neo-Geo |
You know what I've always loved? The Neo-Geo. Tons of great games come out on this platform. I love it. Magicians lord, Metal Slug, King of Fighter, 1942, Super Baseball and many other games. Just from one platform. Where is this going? I'll tell you where this is going...
I want a neo-geo cabnet.
or something similar. I need to check out the home consoles as well but. . . just wow! I can't believe how amazing it is. If I ever saw one on the street, I would not hesitate to cart it home. It doesn't matter where I would put it, all that matters is that I would have a neo-geo machine.
So if anyone ever sees one for sale, or left on the curb, let me know.

| » Corbin Sanders Is A Dead Man |
|
Attention all readers:
This is Francis Q. Archman.
It's important to realize that the popular "Corbin Sanders" cheats at basket ball.
I have reason to believe that Sanders is an android. According to tournement rules, no androids are allowed in the tournment. This is a clear violation, and Sanders must be destroyed.
In article 6, paragraph 18 of the book of basket-bylaws, it states that and I quote "All androids who play basketball shall be exterminated".
Thus a man hunt is needed, join me, Francis Q. Archman as we hunt down Corbin, and end his cheating ways.

| » Persona 4 <3 |
Hey, Persona 4 is looking good. Here's the intro.
It makes me sick that some of you won't even give it a try. The fact that some people just look at the game and say it's shit while games like Final Fantasy are held up on a pedestal. Anyways... If you haven't all ready tried Persona 3, go rent it or something. It's awesome.

It's hot. So hot I don't really want to move. So I won't.
As far as going ons nothing much, school is almost done, sumemr is right around the corner and work progresses. I recently picked up GTA IV, cautiously, remembering some of the things I didn't agree with when I played GTA III. Much to my pleasent surprise everything that was annoying or didn't work in the last one was removed. The large bulky system of raising stats, getting hair cuts, and wearing all types of clothes are gone but are replaced by exellent game play, great story, and great online experience.
I'm debating weathar or not I should attend a class during the summer. The class is called Home Tech Integration, i'll think about. I'm working in the summer too, but it's 4 days a week and ends a week before the 29th of July. So that'll be good. August should be a pretty laid back month. Those are my summer plans. Other than that, nothing interesting, finals are this week, and once I'm done with that that'll be it.

| » Speed Racer! |
Speed motherfucking racer. When I first saw this movie I was thinking of how shitty it would be. Regardless of that, and being that it's Speed Racer, I decided to see it anyways. Let me tell you, the shit was wiped off in a matter of minutes.
When the movie first starts, you see the colors and pretty much get a little freaked out from it. When I first saw it I was thinking about all the god damn blue screen movies that have been going on latly. As the movie progressed and the races actually happend, it began to click on how awesome it was. The colors fit really well with the racing parts, although in most of the non racing parts it looked really cheesy. Regardless to that, the movie did provide and complete my check list of things to do in a speed racer movie, the auto jack sound, the button steering wheel, the bizzare races, the lack of using the humming bird camera thing, Pops grunting, Spridle and Chim Chim. . . all these things were delivered.
The plot was, well, a speed racer plot. Silly. This movie was definitly a fan service movie, those who did not watch speed racer growing up will probably not be able to enjoy this movie as much as I did. That's why I'm assuming it got such terrible reviews. Pretty much, to sum it up in one sentence.
Movie had cool effects, Speed Racer fan service but shitty story.

So I have this idea for a site.
I've been wanting to design and impliment, as well as manage a site for a while.
My idea is that my friends, that means all of you, get space on my server. In addition to a file server for all of us, we'll also have a blog type of deal. To the extent of Kotaku, just to keep everyone up to date on shit we find interesting, if there is a youtube video that we should see. Pretty much a live journal/myspace kinda thing. But more personal, kinda hard to explain. The main thing I would like to do is set up the FTP server for the site, maintain and run it, and that's about it. It's just an idea kicking in my head for now, not sure how many people would be interested.
Well, what do you guys think?
